Ostend-Bruges Airport provides special attention and services for passengers with special needs or reduced mobility in order to travel comfortably.
The doors to the passenger building open automatically and are of sufficient width to allow easy wheelchair access.
The passenger lift in the passenger building gives persons with reduced mobility easy access to the first floor, where they will find the Belair airport restaurant and toilets adapted for persons with reduced mobility. The passenger lift is spacious and suitable for wheelchair users.
Car Park 1 (Front Park) offers 14 dedicated parking spaces. These spaces are near the car part exit and marked by a wheelchair symbol. They are for disabled parking badge holders only. The badge must be clearly visible in the car windscreen.
It is compulsory to request assistance and to mention the nature of the disability when you are making the reservation. The transport of passengers with reduced mobility by plane is strictly regulated. The number of passengers with reduced mobility allowed on a flight is limited according to the type of aircraft and the flight availability.
