Ostend-Bruges Airport offers optimal access for people with reduced mobility:
• The doors to the passenger building open automatically and are of sufficient width to allow easy wheelchair access to the passenger building.
• The passenger lift in the passenger building gives persons with reduced mobility easy access to the first floor, where they will find the Belair airport restaurant and toilets adapted for persons with reduced mobility. The passenger lift is spacious and suitable for wheelchair users.
• Car Park 1 (Front Park) offers 14 spaces for persons with reduced mobility. These spaces are near the car part exit and marked by a wheelchair symbol. They are for disabled parking badge holders only. The badge must be clearly visible in the car windscreen.
• The airport’s PRM service is applied on the basis of published Regulation (EC) No. 1107/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 5 July 2006 concerning the rights of disabled persons and persons with reduced mobility when travelling by air.
